End of July

Alright. So here goes. I'm going to pretty much just upload photos and talk about them, as I am a few months behind. I know. But don't worry, it will be ok! Just keep reading, and you will get many more details and pictures than you ever wanted of the Carpenter Clan :)

So July 22, Peyton turned 6 months! He is such a cheeser. Peyton has started to roll over both ways! He doesn't do it often, and would rather just lay on his tummy and cry for you to help him, but he can do it! He has started to put more weight on his legs and LOVES the walker (he runs, doesn't walk). Peyton has started to sit by himself but he is not very stable yet. Oh he is growing so fast...

Josh came home from his mission on July 26! We were all so excited to see him again and to have him home! I met him at the airport with the rest of the family, but Matthew and Peyton couldn't make it because Peyton was not feeling well. Peyton loves his Uncle Josh and gets very excited whenever they get to play together :)

Here we are on our way to Delaware! Peyton took the 14 hour trip quite well for a 6 month old! He was very good until we were about 10 hours through... then it started wearing on him. He wasn't BAD, he just wanted to get out of that carseat!

This was the morning after we drove to Delaware. We didn't get in until about midnight, but Peyton was still up bright and early around 6am! Everyone else was still sleeping, and we didn't have anywhere to play, so we went into the van and played with our reflection until it was time for breakfast. (Mama was SO TIRED...)

We brought an inflatable pool to keep Peyton and his toys somewhat unsandy. He is totally chillaxing.

Nap time! It was kind of windy this day.

We also found out on 7/31 that Isaac is going to the Las Vegas, Nevada Mission! We are all so excited for him, but I can't believe he is leaving so soon! Josh just got back, and now Isaac is leaving. It will be another 2 years before we have the whole family home again. Oh well... He is doing the Lord's work, and that is the most important thing!
